The Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne is an exciting field of exploration for its students and teaching staff. It is a multi-disciplinary school in which a host of personalities with sometimes radically different interests come together. Offering much more than its name might suggest, the Mechanical Engineering section has mandated us to put this richness into perspective. To do so, we decided to give a direct voice to those who make this section come alive on a daily basis, allowing them to highlight all the possibilities and opportunities that this course of study can offer to future students and teachers. The narration of the two videos was naturally built on the passion they shared with us, and then transmitted it in the form of intimate interviews on screen.
